I had a very nice time at the Grand Junction Barnes & Noble book-signing event!

Thank you to all the readers who came and supported me and my new book, “The Beached Ones.” I appreciate you all very much!

And I hope you enjoy the book.

My mom was kind enough to take some pictures while I was greeting people and signing books. I’m happy to share those here.

The pretty signing table. Notice the prize basket at the left and the cute handwritten sign in the back.
Me with Laura, the one who organized the signing event at Barnes & Noble. Thank you Laura!
Fellow writer Elizabeth dropped by to say hi. She writes mysteries!
Friends start coming in.
I was so glad to see Taffy come by. She has read all of my novels so far! AND she brought chocolate! Thanks, Taffy!
Patricia was a new reader I was thrilled to meet. A victim of a recent stroke, she was determined to recover and enjoy reading at the same time! The man standing between us was a special Barnes & Noble employee who was very helpful in making sure she got her book. Thank you both!
Dolly is a friend of the family and a big reader. She read my previous novel, “Loreena’s Gift.” I hope she enjoys “The Beached Ones!”
This is my stepdad, Gerald, on the left, and his friend John, on the right. John bought TWO books. He’s a great supporter of indie artists. Thank you!
It’s rare for my mom to get out from behind the camera at these events, but I got her to pose here with Gerald (left) and John (right).
These are two former classmates of mine I hadn’t seen in over 30 years. They are great friends and supporters of my writing. It was so nice to see them! (Me, Todd, and Michelle)
Laura drew the name out of the basket, and the prize winners were Doug and Jan Steiner. We dropped the prize by their house. Congratulations and thanks for buying a book!
Jan grows beautiful roses. Mom took this lovely picture of one of them. Amazing!

Thanks to everyone for making this signing possible!
