Winnie & Mos Event

We had a great turnout for the self-doubt workshop and book signing at Winnie & Mo’s Bookshop downtown!

We talked about how destructive self-doubt can be to your creative goals and dreams, and how you can stop it from getting in the way.

The group was fantastic. Very attentive, enthusiastic, and fun!

Here, Joe and Tiffany role-played how self doubt behaves in our lives. Joe was the creator, and Tiffany the self-doubt monster.

They were amazing. You would have thought I had scripted it!

Tiffany’s little boy seemed to be enjoying the game. Look at that smile!

After the workshop was over, I signed copies of my new book, The Beached Ones.

I’m grateful for readers who decided to give the book a try. We sold out!

Kristin was the winner of the gift basket, which included a copy of “The Beached Ones.”
Sydnee (middle) says she’s writing stories already—fantasy!
These girls brought their mom to the class with them. They were a lot of fun!
Michael is a school teacher who writes on the side.
Julia (left) is getting her journalism degree. She came with her mom, Tara (middle), who has her own writing goals.
Sydnee shows off her chosen self-doubt monster!

Thank you to everyone who attended, and to Winnie & Mo’s Bookshop! (They will soon have more copies of The Beached Ones for those who are interested.)

(Special thanks to my Mom, who surprised me by coming to the workshop. She took most of the pictures above.)

Mom snapping a shot!
